Joe Posa doesn’t know what was more exciting — playing Tina Fey’s drag doppelganger on “30 Rock,” or fitting into her jeans!
As we told you last week, the reigning queen of Boston’s drag community was tapped to impersonate Liz Lemon in a scene filmed in New York the other day.
“The bit is that I play ‘Rick,’ a rollerskating waiter at the Lucky Change drag Asian restaurant in the Village who just so happens to look a lot like Liz Lemon. But while I have my back to the camera, the drag hostess says to Tina Fey, who is in the restaurant, ‘Rick, you can’t be on the floor without your rollerskates.’
“When Liz leaves the restaurant, I’m shown rollerskating down the bar to the camera,” he laughs.
